Master Point Calculation

The calculation of the master points is as follows:

MP = (N x F) / R

Parameters:

N = No. of teams / 10 for teams event
N = No. of pairs / 20 for pairs event
F = 6 for Ladder A / Ladderette A
F = 4 for Ladder B
F = 3 for Ladder C / Ladderette B or general event
R = Ranking in that event

Master points are only awarded to the upper half of the field of the event. All master points will be rounded to the nearest one decimal place. Only 50% of the master points accumulated in the previous year can be brought forward to the current year.
